Most importantly our students enjoy the opportunities to celebrate their many achievements. These achievements have been in their academic studies, sport, music, quizzes, and the arts to name just a few and we are justly proud of them. We are a school where all children can enjoy learning and where achievement in all aspects of life is celebrated.
Here in St Eunan’s NS, we feel it is important to encourage leadership amongst our pupils and to give our pupils roles of responsibility. We feel children need to be exposed to a wide variety of educational experiences. By exposing our pupils to a variety of experiences, we are preparing them well for their future in the wider world. We are very proud of our hard working pupils that are involved in The Green School, The Student’s Council and The Active School, The Amber Flag, Curious Minds Science & Maths Award, VEX Project and the Something Fishy Award. The children are so enthusiastic in all their work and we as a school could not be prouder of their dedication and commitment.
Each year, classes from our school attend swimming lessons as part of the Curriculum. Children receive coaching in Gaelic, soccer, athletics and gymnastics to mention a few.
Children also participate in Science events nationwide. Music and Drama teachers also work with classes in our school.
We welcome and take every opportunity to invite a variety of professionals into our school as we believe that we are providing a rich learning environment for all of our pupils.
Classes are involved in cultural, historical and environmental events locally and indeed nationwide. Many classes are also involved in the Donegal Schools Drama Festival each year. We welcome writers, artists, musicians, environmental speakers into our school to inspire our pupils for their futures."
