An Exciting Partnership with St. Aengus N.S. Bridgend

Smart Steps will join the St. Aengus School community this coming September 2026.

We are very excited about this wonderful new partnership to serve the children and families of the Bridgend community and beyond.

Details on our service offering and fees are being finalised, with an information night scheduled for parents on Thursday 11th June at 6:30pm.

About the School

St. Aengus N.S. is a nurturing mixed primary school serving the Bridgend community and surrounding areas.

With approximately 225 pupils, the school provides a warm and supportive environment where children are encouraged to learn, grow and to truly reach their potential.

The school provides a warm, caring and inclusive environment for all it's pupils. There are multiple sensory areas available for children requiring additional support, and two outdoor classrooms for students to enjoy learning outdoor on a regular basis.

Located in Bridgend, approximately 3km from Burnfoot, 10km from Derry / Londonderry and 11km from Newtoncunningham, St. Aengus N.S. is a child centred school community where children build a strong sense of belonging and confidence.
